A lesson to teach, assess or consolidate colours for young children. Start with sharing the poster - sheet 1 and discussing the colours shown. Can children think of things that may be these colours? A short story written to share with young children during topic work on Kings and Queens, Famous people or King Charles 111 Coronation in May 2023. The story is about a Prince who loses his crown and eventually it is found. There is a page sharing flashcards of characters in the story and objects such as the crown and the palace.
